What does Al-Quran reflects ...
7:31 | O children of Adam, you shall be clean and dress nicely when you go to the masjid. And eat and drink moderately; Surely, He does not love the gluttons. |
7:32 | Say, "Who prohibited the nice things GOD has created for His creatures, and the good provisions?" Say, "Such provisions are to be enjoyed in this life by those who believe. Moreover, the good provisions will be exclusively theirs on the Day of Resurrection." We thus explain the revelations for people who know. |
7:33 | Say, "My Lord prohibits only evil deeds, be they obvious or hidden, and sins, and unjustifiable aggression, and to set up beside GOD powerless idols, and to say about GOD what you do not know." |
"Nice Things " ..the Arabic word in the Quran here is...ZEENATUN...which means adornment, embellishment, beautiful
21:51 | And We verily gave Abraham of old his proper course, and We were Aware of him, |
21:52 | When he said unto his father and his folk: What are these images unto which ye pay devotion ? |
21:53 | They said: We found our fathers worshippers of them. |
21:54 | He said: Verily ye and your fathers were in plain error. |
The word for IMAGES...in the Quran is TAMAASEEL....which means characterization, enactment, exemplification, figure, glorification, idealisation, idealization, illustration, model, performance, personation, portrayal, representation, simulation, symbolising, symbolizing, typification
The same word is used here...
4:12 | And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. |
34:13 | They worked for him as he desired, (making) arches, images, basons as large as reservoirs, and (cooking) cauldrons fixed (in their places): "Work ye, sons of David, with thanks! but few of My servants are grateful!" |
That's why , making imgaes of the holy people, animals, plants and objects are not encouraged in Islam, because these may become IDOLS OF WORSHIP!!!
73:0 | In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. |
73:1 | O thou folded in garments! |
73:2 | Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night,- |
73:3 | Half of it,- or a little less, |
73:4 | Or a little more; and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones. |
73:5 | Soon shall We send down to thee a weighty Message. |
In 73:4...the word is TARTEEL...which means ANTHEM, MOTET
16:125 | Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance. |
Based on the sent contents...we can infer..
1- Our God likes BEAUTIFUL things...and does NOT prohibit adornments. (Immodest 'display' if not acceptable..)
2- Worshiping Images etc..is NOT allowed ...so all the idols were removed from the Kabah
3-Music/Rhythm is acceptable
4- Artful Conveying of the message ..IS acceptable
Because the Quranic philosophy is....that all which is Ma'roof decent...roughly.. favoured and morally acceptable...( the word has deep meanings) ...is allowed
and all Munkir ...not-favoured . repudiated ..not accepted morally is not allowed.. (3:114)
